  • Location: Start at Dambulla Vihara Junction (A 9 Road) Travers through Bakamuna and end up in
  • Kalagahawela. Where 7.0 km from Elahera towards Pallegama ( 32.0 km )
  • Project Area : Province : North Central Province / Central Province
  • District : Polnnaruwa & Matale
  • Electorate : Minneriya & Dambulla
  • DS Division : Elahera / Dambulla
  • Project Goals : Economic and social upliftment of the settlers in System C, G and Moragahakanda, Kaluganga Development Area (System F)
  • Project Purpose: Transport of Agricultural products of the farmers in System C, G and F to Dambulla.
  • Economic Center by fast and efficient way (Traveling distance & time will be reduce considerably.
    Other Benefits 1 Industrial Development

  • Access facilities and sufficient human resources are at the area, investors encourraged to set up new industries. Hence it will create employment opportunities.
    2 Tourism Development
  • As this road directly linked with Wasgamuwa National Park and Dambulla City tourism will be improved.
    3 Educational Development
  • Project Output: Enhance the marketing opportunities in System C, G and F. There was no straight away road to connect Mahiyangana and Dambulla. As a result of this road straight away connects Mahiyangana and Dambulla cities with shortest possible distance.
